Teacher Capacity Building

For thousands of migrant children in Tak province, Migrant Learning Centers are their pathway to education.

To support MLC teachers, TeacherFOCUS uses the Myanmar MOE Teacher Competency Standards Framework with video observations to collect, analyze and provide workshops to teachers. Teachers then have a chance to reflect on their own practice, and TeacherFOCUS highlights teacher best practices videos through social media. At the same time, these videos and data are collected to advocate for migrant teacher formal recognition with ministries of education.
